Magic-Pacers NBA Game Preview
Leading off from a hard-fought – but fruitless – first round playoff series last season against number one Chicago Bulls, the Indiana Pacers have come roaring back to begin the 2011-2012 season. The team is experiencing its best starting record in the last eight years, but are still struggling when playing the better teams in the league.
But the Orlando Magic are a fearsome opponent that are 11-5 on the year at this point. And recent history is all on Orlando’s side. The Magic have won over the Pacers in Indiana in every one of the last three matchups of the two.
Both teams come into this fight with a 7-3 record over their previous ten games. The Pacers have a 5-0 record at home so far, while the Magic are 5-3 on the road. Look for Orlando to make a surprisingly strong first quarter after their disastrous 87-56 loss to the Boston Celtics a few days ago.
